Why We Started Vera Path
We started Vera Path Therapy because we’ve lived the gaps in the system. As parents, caregivers, and advocates, we’ve navigated the overwhelm of trying to find high-quality, trauma-informed care for children with complex needs and often came up short.
We created the kind of clinic we wished existed: a calming, sensory-friendly space where families feel seen, supported, and safe. A place where therapists collaborate, caregivers can breathe, and children are met with compassion, not correction.
At Vera Path, we believe regulation is the foundation for growth. Our goal is simple, to help children and families move forward with care that truly understands them.

Our rates
Speech therapy
Our speech therapy sessions support communication, articulation, language development, social interaction, early literacy and reading skills, and feeding challenges. We work with children to build confidence in how they express themselves — whether through speech, AAC, or nonverbal communication.

Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy supports children in developing the skills they need for daily activities — from emotional regulation and sensory processing to visual perception to fine motor coordination and self-care.

Safe & Sound Protocol
SSP is a research-based listening program designed to help regulate the nervous system and support emotional and sensory processing. Using specially filtered music, SSP can improve a child’s ability to feel safe, connect, and engage — laying the groundwork for deeper progress in therapy.
We offer SSP in a calm, supportive environment with therapist guidance and caregiver education throughout the process.

We’re in the process of credentialing with Florida Medicaid, including CMS, Sunshine Health, Humana and Medicaid Waiver (iBudget/MedWaiver), and TRICARE and plan to accept these soon.
