A therapy experience built for real families — calm, compassionate, and co-regulating.

Our Approach

At Vera Path Therapy, we’ve built a clinic around the real needs of children and families — because we’ve been there ourselves. As parents, advocates, and clinicians, we understand the overwhelm that can come with trying to find the right kind of support.

We’re not a cold medical office. We’re not a chaotic play space. We’re something else entirely:
A place where nervous systems can settle, trust can grow, and healing can begin.

A sensory-friendly environment designed to soothe, not overstimulate

Our clinic is intentionally designed to promote regulation from the moment you walk in. Soft lighting, calming colors, quiet spaces, and sensory-friendly materials help reduce overwhelm and support a sense of safety for children — and for caregivers, too.

A trauma-informed team that leads with curiosity and compassion

We understand that behavior is communication. Our clinicians are trained in trauma-informed care and are deeply attuned to the nervous system. We approach every child with empathy, flexibility, and curiosity — creating space for trust, connection, and meaningful progress.

Therapies rooted in nervous system regulation and whole-child development

We don’t just aim for milestones — we aim for regulation, confidence, and resilience. Whether through occupational, speech, or physical therapy, our approach supports the integration of brain and body. We focus on safety, sensory processing, reflex integration, and co-regulation as the foundation for functional growth.

A collaborative model where families, therapists, and RBTs work as a team

Our model prioritizes both the child’s and caregiver’s needs. Instead of relying on parents to assist in-session, our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) step in to help with transitions, co-regulation, and sensory activities — giving caregivers space to rest, reset, or consult privately with the therapist.

We understand that some conversations are best held outside the child’s presence, and our team is trained to handle sensitive information with care and discretion. When needed, RBTs can engage the child in a sensory activity while the caregiver and therapist connect privately.

We believe that when caregivers are regulated, children feel it — and both leave more prepared for growth.

A space for families to breathe

Our parent lounge is more than a waiting room — it’s a place to exhale. This 18+ room was designed with caregivers in mind, offering a calm, quiet environment where parents can reset while their child is in session.

The lounge features two massage chairs, a complimentary coffee and hydration station, cozy seating, and a desk with charging stations — everything you need to unwind, work quietly, or simply pause.

We believe that caregivers deserve care, too. Whether you're taking a moment to catch your breath or giving your nervous system a chance to regulate, this space is here for you. We want you to leave feeling just as supported as your child — relaxed, grounded, and ready for what comes next.

Support for the child. Space for the parent. A path forward for both.
